I’m beginning to see Lightbox used on web pages everywhere nowadays. Maybe it’s being overused. Heck, even I use it on my site. So, yes I am a fan myself. It does however have some downfalls. The biggest that I recently encountered was a lack of Flash swf file support. It seemed like I would have to turn towards ThickBox to get around this issue until I found that Brian Reavis created swf support for Lightbox.

The only problem I have encountered with this version is that user controls within the swf do not work on Macs. Hopefully that gets fixed soon because I am a Mac user.
